When it comes to purchasing the perfect pair of sunglasses, size matters. Are you unsure of the size that you require?

Let’s now learn how to measure the size and shape of your sunglasses frames.

First tip: Learn how you can read the measurements of your sunglasses

You must first understand what you are reading before you can write these numbers down. Find out how to measure the length and width of your arms.

You’ll find these numbers inside the sunglasses’ arm: 51-19-144

    These measurements are as follows:

Lens width (e.g. 51 mm: Lens width (e.g. Optometry uses another term to replace this one, “eye size”.

Width of bridge of nose (e.g. 19 mm: This is the width of the bridge of your nose (e.g. This is sometimes called “an opening”. The bridge’s width varies from 14 to 24 millimeters.
Arm length (e.g. 144mm: This refers to the arm that holds your sunglasses. The arm extends beyond the ear. It is typically 135, 140, or 145 millimeters in length.
Lens Height is the vertical measurement of the lens, or the distance from the top to the bottom. Sizes can vary depending on brand but the average size is between 32-38 millimeters.

Second Tip: Make sure to check the history of an older pair.

To be safe, you might consider using an older pair of sunglasses. Match your features.

You will find some numbers on the frames that will help you choose a pair of shoes that is as good as the one you have before.

Take care, however, that every pair of sunglasses you buy is unique and made by different manufacturers

Usually, the information about the size of your glasses will be located on the inside of your left arm.

Tip 3: Use a ruler to measure your sunglasses

Don’t be discouraged if you don’t see any specs on your sunglasses. Get ready to demonstrate your measuring skills.

Use a tape measure or ruler to carefully measure the size of the glasses you need for your face. Follow the guidelines above.

We don’t want you to be confused with numbers so we have labeled the numbers on our website as S, M, and L.

    Tip 4 – Use a credit card

You can use a credit card. It’s one more way to use your credit card, other than for shopping at your favorite stores, but it works.
